Dr. Clifford Hill MA BD PhD,
Founder and Research Director, Family Matters Institute

Clifford is a theologian, sociologist, and ordained minister within the Congregational Church. For many years he led inner city churches in London, and during this time he set up an urban mission project in the East End.

He has lectured and written extensively, and concern for the family is a consistent theme in his work.

He chairs the Academic Working Party of the Lords and Commons Family and Child Protection Group, and in this capacity he played a central role in putting together the Family Matters Report in 1998. This report formed the starting point for FMI & set up the research/evaluation department.
